Image "No-No's"

Although most people know a good image when they see one, there are still some who think awful images are good ones. I've selected several images from depositphotos as examples.

This is not only awkward, but the lighting is pretty poor.

Women posing with guns are pretty popular. Unfortunately, very few actually know how to pull the look off. You definitely don't hold your wrist when you handle a gun.

Also keep in mind, images with bright lighting aren't easily blended onto backgrounds with low lighting (and vice versa). Sometimes, it's not possible at all. That doesn't mean the images are bad, but if they don't blend well, they won't make a good cover.
